Suspense is Hostiler than Death – Death Poems

Suspense is Hostiler than Death
Death tho’soever Broad,
Is Just Death, and cannot increase
Suspense – does not conclude.

But perishes to live anew
But just anew to die
Annihilation – plated fresh
With Immortality

(Poem by Emily Dickinson)
