I came to visit, did you see?
I left a note for you, did you see?

I miss you, I miss you,
Three words that matter so little.
Sometimes, I need you now.

I polished it, again and again,
Until the marble glowed.

For the briefest second,
I could’ve sworn I felt you presence.

“I left a dozen roses by your grave today”,
I dropped a few teardrops upon the roses,
As if to give them life.

I miss you, I miss you.
Come back to me, please.
I breaking at the very seams,
And I need you to patch me back up.

But the one thing I must know,
The one thing that matters the most,
Are you happy?

He choked me
with vines of dangerous love
forever denting my soul
with painful dedication
impossible to let go
holding on with bruised fingertips

Only You – Sad Poems

Comments Off

Old Friends, all passion spent
I wonder where it all went

You thought no-one would see
You thought no one would hear
But you never thought of me
so you never did feel fear

The sound of my voice
the glint in your eyes
I think of you
and I could cry

No matter how I feel down
the deep and dark abyss
With a rose for her, in your clenched fist

But you never seemed to make up your mind
always seemed to be flying blind
while you who went lower than low
looked into the sky and saw me
You walk home with her on cold hard streets
The sidewalk cries beneath your feet
and I cant go on without you

She closes the door, and you think of me
Hardly being faithful

Prayer that will make me stronger,
Becuase I cant stand it any longer,
Prayer that will give me hope for better,
Because for me it really matters.

I pray so you can go after me,
I pray so finally you could see,
How worth I am the fight,
And you know that I am right,

I want you to write,
I want you to call,
But you might or might not,

It feels horrible waiting,
Without knowing whats going on,
I am just here standing,
And looking at my door,

I pray to God so he can feel my pain,
And help him to understand it as well,
My prayer is deep as my love is and faith,
Please just don’t wait …

Look for me,
and tell me that you wont hurt me anymore,
Tell me i m worth anything,
And thank me for my patience and everything.

For many years I thought I knew,
those simple words to say.
That simple phrase that flows so true,
yet seems so far away.

I searched my heart and searched my soul,
they offered no advice.
I searched my head and paid the toll,
my heart was turned to ice.

A thousand million moments spent,
without you in my sight.
A chanced meet, my calm is rent,
a touch of Heaven’s might.

I sit here now, within my shell,
a hellstorm inside wreaks.
For should I shy, or should I tell,
the words the thunder speaks.

I know not what to say to whom,
nor what to think or do.
It’s just right now there’s only room,
To think and think of you.

Every year flashes by you
Time waits for no man
Regrets, you live with plenty
And the loneliness you cannot stand
Through the ashes you see her face
The girl you left behind
You’ll never find a love like hers
Or a heart that was as kind

Did you lack human courage
When you had her in your grasp?
Back then, when you were young and scared
Did you believe that it could last?
With her picture, you feel her soul
But many years have come and gone
You’re reminded of what could’ve been
When you play her favourite song

She was the one that got away
You think about her everyday
The love she showed
That you let go
Means your pain will only stay
She was the one that got away
