Steady heart beat,
count the one, two, three

Skip a number
try again

Life will never be your friend.
(Poem by Maegan)

I’m no one
I’m someone
I’m in between
Not quite sure which
But I do know
That I’m done, I’m moving on
I’m done wasting my time
I’m done playing
Your stupid little mind games
I’m sick of not knowing
What’s up and what’s down
It’s too much stress
Too much pain
I’m not putting myself through that again
This will hurt me more than you
Because I know that I’m someone
You would never choose
I’ve always known it
I chose not to believe it
But I’m putting me first
No more games, no more pain
Don’t blame me,you did this
I can only be ignored for so long
Well Guess what buddy?
This girl is moving on
Game over
(Poem by Rebecca Taber)

Stress Cutter
Have you seen her?
Stress Cutter
Have you seen her arms?
Stress Cutter
Have you seen all the healed scars?
Stress Cutter
I miss her.
Stress Cutter
Wait till summer, everything will be easy!
Stress Cutter
You will be free!
(Poem by MeReYo122297)

A hollow shell is all that’s left,
After the toll of love has been taken.
Her flesh now officially skin deep,
From the stresses she’s been put through.

Beyond the visible eye lies a heart,
Broken by the disease which plagues her existance.
The love that once flourished,
Now forcing her to become what you now see.

This disease haunts everyone around,
Who witness this being of malnutrition.
No longer able to stand by a mirror,
For fear of seeing the broken soul she’s become.

Unloved by those who can’t see her heart,
She’ll never overcome this force that overtook.
In time her life will be in the hands of fate,
As her flesh reveals the tragedies of a lost love.
(Poem by Nick)

A button is pushed.
The device is alive.
Noise is here.
The abundance of it is confounding.
Amplitude is often quite high.
Sounds are highly mobile.
They travel around corners.
They cover much distance.
Auditory nerves are assaulted.
No shield is here to defend.

Help is coming from outside.
A summer storm has arrived.
Its turbulence affects the electricity.
The power is zonked!
Mother Nature has become a messiah!
Silence!
(Poem by Dreamer)

Life choking pressure
intensity radiating
as I stumble along

Bombarded by insanity
incessant attacks of humanity

pressing, pressing
strangling my creativity

I have to step back
take another road in
and enjoy the view

learning to breath all over again.
(Poem by Debra Dill)
