She walks the halls, she roams the city
speaking to no one, asking for nothing

She’s cold in the warmest paces, she’s
one in a million tears and silent fears
she wont discuss, she wants to cry,
she, wont cuss, or fuss about the issues,

Day to day all she wants to say is hello
hello to the good,
hell no to the bad

If it has to happen,
she’s clapping to the beat in her head

If something goes bad she’s quick enough to
go right, on through the breeze that everyone

I think the only thing
that could thaw this bitter ice age

Why do I feel so empty whenever you aren’t here?

The single tear rolling down my cheek
leaves a cold wet path,
and falls to the blanket around my shoulders
