Smile – Death Poems

Comments Off

She put on a smile
Acted like it’s been there awhile.

She thought to herself,
It’s a mask that fools so many,
I wonder if it’s obvious to any?

All it took was one bullet to her head.
Who knew it was so easy
to make your whole world end?

So she put on a smile.
Acted like it’s been there awhile.
It was a mask that fooled so many.
And now its obvious to any.

Her eyes tell a story.
A broken heart,
The pain of living,
A brand new start.
Her solemn expression,
Her readiness to cry,
Her willingness to laugh,
She’s not afraid to die.
Her story is a trail,
One of never ending tears.
Of people loved, and lost
Over her few years.
A brother who’s now an angel,
A mother who didn’t care,
A father who tried,
But was never really there.
Her heart is set on living
Until the day she dies.
She lives for the love
Of the one that’s in the skies.
“I’ll see you again, little one.
Let’s just hope not one day too soon.”
She smiles as she whispers this prayer
While staring up at the moon.
Her Angel hears her every word.
He smiles down from above.
“Thanks big sis.” he says,
“I’ll see you one day, my love.”

You say i deserve no father,
and yet he is die.
you laugh at my tears,
and kick mud in my face.
you watch as i cut my wrists,
and gave me the blade.

The rain poured down onto my parched lips
no one will ever now the days smothered in grief
I imagined eagles leading two doves to the gold reef
never have I felt such loneliness
like an empty shell I could not see me
gently cherry lips on breast so fair
now my nothing
a silent burden I will forever bear
alone I strive on for another breath
Oh God I can not breathe help me
my arms were truly empty
my heart was tarnished
but my flood of me
I did this I am the one to blame
maybe everyone will hate me
will I ever smile again, truly smile
and every day that marches on
I know I will live out this life lonely
no one to share my secret thoughts of you
my sweet dreams

Would it be alright to call you?
Time is almost gone.
Would it be alright to call you?
I have seen my last dawn.

To tell you how I really feel
Is my last selfish desire.
To tell you how I really feel
In the one hour before I expire.

With this hour will I get the chance
To tip the hourglass, go back in time.
With this hour will I get the chance
To grab the kisses in their prime.

No, I don’t think I could be that blind
One hour is not enough for lovers entwined
Its hard to turn down a dieing ex-love
I know if I was healthy you’d give me the shove.

So to rekindle something in a hurried hour
Will only bring you meaningless pain, not power
I couldn’t do something so horrible to you
I’d never want to see you so blue.

So I’ll leave words left unsaid
And maybe call my mom instead

Where are you?
Why did you leave me my love?
Why are you hiding from me?
I never left you my love.
Where are you?
Why did you abandon me my love?
Why won’t you come back to me?
I am always with you my love.
Where are you?
Why did you forsake me my love?
Why are you so far away from me?
I had no choice my love.
Where are you?
Why did you desert me my love?
Why won’t you stay with me?
It was not my choice to die my love.
I will always love you.
I’m always here my love.
You will never be alone.
